Taegan: Mom, can I get a pet?
Mom: What kind of pet?
Taegan: A dog!
Mom: Hhmmm. How do you care for a pet dog?
Taeg: Feed it dog food, make it a dog bed and take it for dog walks.
Mom: What about the poop?
Taeg: I don't want a dog. I want a cat!
Mom: Cats poop too.
Taeg: What pet doesn't poop or puke, because I am not cleaning that up.
Mom: Hhhmm. Anything that eats needs to poop.
Taeg: I want a pet worm!

That girl! This convo sounds like a comic strip. We've been reading lots of Calvin and Hobbes around here lately, which may be why it sounds that way to me. Anyway, thanks for the laugh!
I think a pony would fit nicely in your backyard. And maybe pony poop would make good fertilizer for that yellow patch of grass. Everybody wins!

This is funny. I don't think that would even sway Sadie one bit. She still wants a dog really bad.
Somehow I thought of my own children when reading this... about maybe getting a worm instead because I'm sick of cleaning up puke and poop!
